Chapter 1. General Provisions
1. Purpose
These Terms of Service set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between HyFace Co., Ltd. ("the Company"), which operates SOSCUT ("the Service"), and its members and users.
2. Definitions
1. "Member" refers to a person who has entered into a service agreement with the Company and uses the Service. Under Article 3, members are classified as either individual members or corporate members.
2. "Content" refers to all digital materials provided by the Company.
3. "Pro Assets" refers to Content that is provided for a fee.
4. "Tier" refers to the classification of usage rights granted to a member within the Service — namely, Free and Pro for individual members, and Basic, Plus, and Enterprise for corporate members.
3. Disclosure and Revision of Terms
The Company posts these Terms on the Service, and will provide advance notice of any changes.
4. Formation of the Service Agreement
The service agreement is formed upon the member's application and the Company's approval.
5. Management of Member Information
Members must provide accurate information, and are responsible for managing their own account.
Article 5, Paragraph 2
Usage rights granted to a corporate member are limited to
authorized users within the contracting company or business entity, and the account may not be shared with affiliates, partners, subcontractors, or third parties. Restrictions on sharing or providing original Content are governed by the Content Usage Policy (License & Usage Guide). Further details of the scope permitted also follow the applicable plan or individual contract.
Chapter 2. Membership Types and Tiers
6. Membership Classification
1. Members are classified as individual members or corporate members according to their purpose of use.
2. Individual members are classified into the Free tier and the Pro tier, and all new sign-ups start at the Free tier. This is not a recurring subscription.
2-1. The Free tier is granted to members with no history of paid purchases; the Pro tier is granted to members who have made at least one payment for a Pro Asset.
3. A member is upgraded to Pro at the moment of their first actual paid purchase of a Pro Asset, and the tier is retained permanently thereafter. This excludes assets obtained for free, such as through a 100% discount coupon.
4. Corporate members sign up on a recurring payment (annual subscription) basis and are classified into the Basic, Plus, and Enterprise tiers. Contract terms for the Enterprise tier are determined through separate negotiation.
7. Usage Rights by Tier
1. The specific usage rights granted per tier (bookmark/collection limits, number of available downloads, number of concurrent users, eligibility for commercial use, etc.) follow the plan information posted by the Company on the Service, and the Company may change these with advance notice.
2. The specific scope of use and restrictions on Content are governed by the separate "Content Usage Policy (License & Usage Guide)."
8. Paid Services and Tier Changes
1. Matters relating to the purchase of Pro Assets, corporate members' recurring payment sign-up, plan changes (upgrades), cancellation, and any related refunds are governed by the separate "Service Provision & Refund Policy."
2. Corporate members may only change to a higher tier; changes to a lower tier are not permitted.
3. The Enterprise tier does not have a standardized plan; contract terms (scope of use, contract period, payment terms, etc.) are determined through individual negotiation between the Company and the member. Where these Terms conflict with an individual contract, the individual contract takes precedence. The procedure for converting to and entering into an Enterprise-tier contract will be separately guided by the Company.
Chapter 3. Provision and Modification of the Service
9. Provision and Modification of the Service
1. The Company may modify the content of the Service — including Content composition, tier benefits, and pricing plans — as operationally or technically necessary, and will provide advance notice of any change that is disadvantageous to members.
2. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in the event of unavoidable circumstances, such as system maintenance or force majeure.
Chapter 4. Termination of Agreement and
Restriction of Use
10. Withdrawal and Termination of Agreement
Upon a member's withdrawal, access to the Service and redownload rights are terminated, and usage rights to previously acquired Content are governed by the applicable license terms. Matters relating to corporate members' mid-term cancellation of a recurring payment plan are governed by the "Service Provision & Refund Policy."
11. Restriction of Use and Loss of Membership
If a member violates these Terms or applicable law, the Company may restrict the member's use of the Service or revoke their membership without prior notice.
Chapter 5. Copyright and Liability
12. Copyright
Copyright in the Content belongs to the Company or the original creator, and members acquire only a right to use it.
13. Disclaimer and Damages
The Company is not liable for matters arising from force majeure. In the event of a violation, the Company may claim damages based on actual losses incurred.
Chapter 6. Miscellaneous
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
These Terms take effect from the date announced, September 1st, 2026.
